What each end asks for
Moving to the UAE
- Used household goods of a new resident usually come in without duty, with your passport, UAE residence visa or Emirates ID and a packing list.
- Medicines need the prescription; some need a permit before they ship. Drones need approval.
Moving abroad from the UAE
- Most countries let someone moving there to live bring household goods without duty under their transfer-of-residence rules (in the UK, form ToR1), often for things you've owned for a while.
- Have your passport, the new country's visa or permit and a packing list with values ready; we tell you what your destination asks for.
Not in the container: gas bottles, paint, fuel, aerosols, loose batteries and anything flammable; fresh food and plants. Cash, jewellery and the papers you need on arrival travel with you. Fridges go empty, clean and dry.

Which countries do you move to and from?
Tell us the country and city at both ends and we quote that move: shipping, UAE customs clearance and what is included at the other end.
Can you store my things between homes?
Yes. Your things can wait in your own storage room at one of our Dubai or Abu Dhabi sites until your new home is ready, with live prices on this site.
Sea or air?
Sea for most of a home, air for a few boxes you need quickly. We quote both when it helps you choose.
Will my home fit in one container?
Usually. A 2-bedroom flat fits a 20 ft container and a 3-bedroom home or a villa a 40 ft; smaller moves share a container and pay per m³. A short video of each room lets us work out yours.

Do I pay duty on my household goods?
Usually not when you move somewhere to live: the UAE and most countries let used household goods of a new resident in without duty, with the right papers. We tell you what your destination asks for when we quote.
