Questions people ask us
What is Move + Store?
A partner mover collects your things and puts them in your own storage room at a Green Sky site, at a price fixed in writing before the move. You get one bill for the move and the storage.
How is the price worked out?
By the size of your home and how much help you want: Basic, Standard or Full. Send a short video of each room on WhatsApp and we send the fixed price, with any extras listed on it. Prices are before 5% VAT.
Is there a discount if I pay storage ahead?
Yes. Pay storage ahead and we take rent off the move: 1 month's rent off for 3 months, 2 months' rent off for 6 months, 3 months' rent off for 12 months. If you leave before the months you paid for, the credit is charged back.
When do I pay? Is there a deposit?
There is no deposit to get a quote. You see the price in writing before you book, and you pay by card, Tabby or bank transfer. No cash to the crew.
Do I need a building permit to move?
Many buildings ask for a move-out permit and a lift booking. We send you a checklist when you book, and we can apply for you.

What if there is no lift?
Tell us the floor when you send the video. Carrying up or down the stairs is an extra, priced per floor and written on your quote before you book.
Which days cost more? Can you move in summer?
Moves in the last three days and first two days of a month, and on Saturdays in June, July and August, cost 10% more; your quote shows it. From 15 June to 15 September outdoor work stops from 12:30 to 3 PM by law, so summer moves are booked in the morning or later in the afternoon.
What if something is damaged?
Tell us on WhatsApp with a photo. We repair it, replace it or pay for it within 7 days of your claim.
Do you move villas?
Yes. Villas get a free survey at home before the price is fixed in writing.
How do I get my things back?
Book a move out when you are ready, and the move to your new home is 10% off. Or collect your things yourself in opening hours.
Can I visit my things?
Yes. It is your own room with your own lock. Visit in the site's opening hours.
What can't you move?
Cash, gold, passports and documents, medicine, food, plants, pets, gas bottles, fuel, paint and chemicals.
