Packing tips

Furniture in the UAE heat

  • Wrap wood and leather in breathable covers or old sheets; plastic wrap traps moisture.
  • Take legs off tables and beds, and keep the screws in a labelled bag taped to the piece.
  • Stand mattresses and sofas on their sides, raised on pallets or boards.
  • Leave fridges and washing machines clean, dry and slightly open.
  • Heavy boxes at the bottom, a path down the middle so you can reach things.
Most of our rooms are not air-conditioned. A few are climate-controlled; none is free right now. Ask us on WhatsApp to join the waiting list.

Can you collect my furniture?

Yes. A partner mover brings your things from your home into your room at one fixed price (Move + Store). Or bring them yourself: every site has space to unload.

I only need it for a few weeks between homes.

That's fine. Rooms are rented by the month with no minimum stay; tell us a week before the next month starts and you leave.

What size do I need for my flat?

As a guide: a studio fits a small room, a one-bedroom flat a standard room, a two-bedroom flat a large room, a villa a hall. The table on this page says what each size holds; or answer five questions and we tell you.

How do I book a storage room in Dubai?

Tell the Dubai team the size you need on WhatsApp, or call, and we confirm a room the same day. Then sign and pay online or at the desk.

Can I see the room first?

Yes, and the visit is free. Come Mon–Sat, 9 AM to 6 PM, or ask on WhatsApp and we'll send you a video.

When can I get to my things?

Mon–Sat 9 AM–6 PM, Sunday closed. Come any time in those hours, as often as you like.

Do I pay a deposit?

No. You pay the first month to start.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?

Most rooms are not. A few rooms are climate-controlled; ask us which ones are free.
